Rodrigo Ibata, directeur de recherche, ObAS. Expert of the Local Group, using satellites and their tidal debris to study galaxy formation, dark matter distribution and the evidence for dark matter substructures.
Giacomo Monari, astronome adjoint, ObAS. Involvement: 30% ETPR. Expert on the dynamics of galaxies, particularly in developing analytical tools for linearised perturbation theory in the Milky Way, and in the analysis of the bar and spiral arms.
Florent Renaud, directeur de recherche, ObAS. Expert in high-resolution hydrodynamic simulations of galaxies and star formation. Will provide expertise on subgrid models, interpretation of models and their comparison with simulations.
Arnaud Siebert, astronome adjoint, ObAS. Involvement: 20% ETPR. Expert in building dynamical models of the Milky Way’s disc, incorporating perturbations such as the bar or spiral arms, and using constraints from spectroscopic and astrometric surveys such as Gaia, RAVE or WEAVE.
Christophe Pichon, directeur de recherche, IAP . Expert in the theory of bar formation, galactic dynamics and galaxy formation in the context of the cosmic web
